• Exposed roots and obstacles when not using purpose made paths

Respecting the native bush & environment

• No harm to plant life and other species

• Only use natural products (we provide this)

• Place all waste in receptacles (labeled for separation/recycling)

• Leave only footprints

Interaction with land 

The venues are part of a working dairy farm, but are located in an area of bush that is particularly independent of the day-to-day farm operations. This means there are a number of natural hazards, please be weary. We have every intention for minimal interference between the farm and venue experience, but for both operations to function alongside each other. Show courteousness to the animals on the property. We encourage you to spend some time walking and exploring the native bush area around the venue sites on marked trails, but not through the farmland. Close all gates behind you.

Interaction with guests

Our family home is located on the property, some distance from the venue. We endeavour not to disturb guests during their time unless contacted. We will be available should you need it, but otherwise mindful of guest space. We are often out and about enjoying the surrounding land and working on the property. We are always happy to have a conversation with guests should we cross paths, and share any information you may be interested in. 

Safety

As hosts we have the right to transfer bookings, if we feel the safety of guests are at risk i.e. due to weather conditions. We will contact guests directly and transfer the booking to another date agreed upon by both host and guest.
